This is a picture of me taken at my son's graduation from high school in June 2007. I was raised in Arcadia, California, which is a suburb of Los Angeles, moved to Utah and lived there for 10 years. I now live in the sticks of New Hampshire. About as far removed from the L.A. life as you can possibly be. I live in a tiny village of about 1,000 people. The whole area (township) has maybe 7,000 people. There are lots of open fields, blue sky and fresh air. I graduated from the University of Utah with my M.Ed. in Special Education and teaching certificate in 1996. I teach Special Education at our local middle school. My class is a multi-age/multi-grade life skills program for kids with more significant disabilities. I am also an Ameriplan USA representative.
